hey pq, i just wanted to apologize for posting that about the action that is happening--rabfish and aaminah informed me of some significant problems with the solidarity action that i never even considered being not only non muslim, but non religious as well. and i see where i was being pushy and not respectful. so i wanted to come back and apologize and let you know that i am more aware, and will be much more conscious of things from now on!

hey BP - it's all good, I actually just saw it right now and didn't know about it until 5 minutes ago...I still need to figure out what they're all about...

haraam iftaar! you are too funny...can you imagine breaking fast with a fast, juicy sausage?!!!

ramadan karim!

hey all :)

oh bfp, you're apologizing? doh...hopefully not on my account...we can talk about the different ways of seeing the solidarity fast but it doesn't mean the whole thing sucks or its offensive to even spread the word, you know? it just adds to our sense of the dimensions of it. i was just trying to share some of my confusions about it. anyway, ramadhan karim all :)

(yesterday on the first day of ramadhan i made 'yummy haraam chilli': non-halaal ground beef, a bottle of beer, plus chickpeas, black eyed peas, textured vegetable protein, quinoia, barley, broccoli, green pepper, corn, sweet potato and carrot.)
